What was the highlight of Grand Hotel Parco del Sole
Good hotel, amazing pool area and spacious grounds with lovely flowers and trees!
The hotel has its own big entrance compared to the other hotels which open onto street. It was great to walk off a busy road into peaceful beautiful spacious gardens and space, with a beautiful mountain behind it. The pool area was lovely and clean and amazing views. Sunbeds were great with a stand over your head for shade. The food and drinks are included which was grand. All day you can get cocktails, tea, coffee and then at lunch they had buffets of pizza, chips, salad, rice etc... Which was nice l. In my hotel room the bathroom was big and shower was lovely. The balcony was lovely also. The room had so much storage and drawers!... The fridge was a huge bonus and water was left daily. The cleaners made my bed daily and the bed smelt real nice. I didn't see any insects at all. There was such a friendly woman in reception with curly hair that was so lovely to see a big smile when I walked in, pity the others at reception weren't as friendly but she more then makes up for it!.. At breakfast the staff were so lovely and friendly. The food was okay - good. There were loads of pastries and cakes! And there were fried food and a pancake corner for kids and adults!... There is a drink machine with coffees, hot choc etc.. There was rolls and ham, cheese and some salad. Overall, I was happy with the hotel... For what it lacked, the food and drinks kind of made up for it.. One night they had this huge cake which was nicest I've ever eaten!
It was very noisy at times. Rooms are not soundproofed so it's easy to hear everything. Thankfully it was quiet enough at night but if there was people who talked loudly then you would be disturbed. My room was on corner of stairs so that meant I heard everyone that walked by if they spoke. In day I heard toilets flush and water running but this didn't disturb me too much at night. The food was okay, not great and alcohol was not great quality so I didn't have too many drinks. It would of been great if they had more selection of healthy foods rathar then pastry... There wasn't fruit everyday, just twice during my stay. There wasnt a great selection. One type of ham and cheese and cucumber and tomato. I don't know if I'd come back again, but for the price I think it was reasonable. If they had better food selection and rooms more soundproofed then I probably would. But for anyone who wants a nice hotel with okay food and great pool area then this is it... Location is good. It's 20 minutes walk to centre and they have a shuttle bus running about 6 times a day..

I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!
I was very pleased with all the staff, they were very courteous and helpful. The food was great and I really appreciated that when I arrived to the Hotel it was late and everything was closed already and we were hungry but the Hotel personnel had a table set up for our arrival with food, wine and water. I think that that was a very nice thing to do.
I can’t think of anything that could have done better other than get a second coffee machine as a back up, but that’s equipment failure.

Step into the set of Dirty Dancing. Pretty decore and very clean.
Pretty property, wonderful staff, very clean. Almost looked like the set of the movie ‘Dirty Dancing’. Easy distance into town to walk. Wide variety of buffet dishes. Good quality and tasting food.
A few mosquitoes so bring your spray.
